new year new season. [ kickoff !! ]

i shouldn't of been up so late last night.
i bought a muffin and some coffee.


as usual the art work at high tech was extremely impressive.
the video was long as usual and everyone was squirming with impatience in their chairs.
the challenge : what can i say aobut the challenge.

stayed around pretty late mainieri and i were discussing ideas about what i had seen and done in mexico .

trang and i scheduled him for a meeting on wednesday. [he was booked the other days]

im gonna start my SAT classes soon and i have scholarship [relaity changers] on tuesdays
maintaining all that and coming alot is gonna be really hard.
im gonna try really hard though.

apart from other exciting aspects like climbing mountains and seen ancient mayan ruins ive been spending the weekend with my cousin.

[hes studying to be an electrical engineer. ]

in highschool he took a robotics class that did projects and he found that he liked it alot so now he is studying it in college along with a couple of his friends and his girlfriend [ how cute] . its really intresting because they make everything out of scratch . were fortunate that first gives us little kits for our robot. however many of these projects are not as big as the robot we make and they dont really make them to compete but they make them to help

their communities with plumbing , terrenial and other problems like that.

today he explained two of his robots to me

exhibit A:

if you thought solar powered cars were cool now think about a shade powered car!!!

yeah thats right shade powered this little car was buit a very simply wood pexiglass
it had a built in censor that allowed it to move forward while in the shade and to stop when it detected light.

exhibit B :

in mexico they are not fortunate enought to have nice pipeline like we do in america.

so thererfore my cousin and two team mates designed a two device system.

these devices can be swiotched to maunal , automatic and the off positons.

water runs a from big concret tank that people usuallly have on the side

of their houses to a big pool under the house that then runs to the shower , washingmachine , sinks ect

the runnning of the water is powered by a water pump however becuase the water pum is constantly runnning

they break from deteriation and it is very expensive and difficult to repair

[ mostly a luxury most families cant afford] this is where my cousin comes in his device sends a signal to

control the water pump so it only runs when there is a need for water .

the two work in pairs . its just really great

long day mostly.

i arrived and helped set up talbes for registration and concessions.
told alejandra and vanessa how it was done.
i was asked to sing the national anthem last minute with melanie dumalag.
we spenmt some tie practicing inside the snack shack got some spectators.
after that i was in charge of making any last minute / emergency posters and running the concessions
we were fortunate that there was a lacross game because we got alot of customers.
we ordered 30 pizzas but appparently we only recieved 15 and our pizza combos were sellin like crazzzyy .
the pizza was gone before 2:00. fortunatley we still had other chips and snackum goodies.

our teams did really goood!!!

we did however have some drama with the music and stuff.
cant wait for next year .
even more i cant wait for building season.
